Unveiling of ATR 72 500 Aircraft
2nd August 2024, Flightlink Limited today welcomed a new 72-seater ATR 500 aircraft in its existing fleet. The purchase of this new Aircraft has been fully funded by Diamond Trust Bank Tanzania PLC (DTB-Tanzania).
The new ATR 500 aircraft will operate between Dar es salaam, Zanzibar, Arusha and Mombasa.
Speaking to members of press during the unveiling ceremony of the new Aircraft, DTB CEO Mr. Ravneet Chowdhury said “We are proud finance Flighlink Limited in purchasing the 72-seater ATR 500 aircraft that will improve the firm’s ability to carry more passengers between Dar es salaam, Zanzibar and Arusha route - which is a predominantly tourists travel corridor. The growth of aviation is a key pillar in realization of Tanzania as a preferred tourist destination as echoed in the Royal Tour by her Excellency the President of the United Republic of Tanzania”.
